The IU Summer Language Workshop is hiring an hourly student worker to assist with general office work and programming in Summer 2016.
General duties will include, but are not limited to:
1. Assisting the staff with setting up, facilitating, and recording extracurricular programs;
2. General office assistance;
3. Helping with communications.
Applicants should be able to communicate effectively with faculty, students, and staff. Applicants should also be prepared to work some evenings and weekends.
Basic computer skills are required. We also require either working knowledge of recording equipment, cameras, IU listservs, podcasting or a willingness to learn needed skills to support our efforts. The physical requirements for the job are the abilities to lift light objects and to go on errands around campus.
This position is for 20 hours/week at a salary of $12/hour. We are prepared to start the position by May 23, 2016. The position will end on August 12, 2016.
