Graduate Assistantship (2019/20) Academic Year

This is a one-year position (2019/2020 academic year) with the potential of renewal for a second year contingent upon continued funding and satisfactory performance. Primary responsibilities include:
(a) data analyses using a variety of quantitative methods to conduct and report statistical analyses;
(b) consulting with principal investigators and other staff in the selection of appropriate methodology;
(c) participating in team-based planning of research and evaluation activities; and
(d) collaborating on writing grant proposals and research reports, developing presentations on project outcomes and recommendations for a variety of national and state audiences including educators, researchers, policymakers, and funders.
The successful candidate will be in an advanced degree program (Master’s or PhD) in the field of education, psychology, public health, social work, research inquiry, or a closely affiliated field. Flexibility, strong organizational skills, interest/experience in mixed methods social science research, and the ability to work with others as a member of a research team are all essential. Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive data at all times and be able to develop working relationships with center staff.
This position includes a stipend, health insurance, and fee remission.
