The Women’s Philanthropy team at Indiana University and the Indiana University Foundation seek a self- motivated, intuitive, driven graduate student to serve as Graduate Assistant, playing a key role in advancing the initiatives of the Women’s Philanthropy initiative at Indiana University.
The ideal candidate is a current graduate student at IU with a serious passion for bringing people together for a greater cause. This graduate assistantship will start in June 2019, with an opportunity to run one to two years in length. The Graduate Assistant will have the opportunity to work in direct support of Laurie McRobbie, First Lady of Indiana University, serving as a main point of contact for ongoing projects and initiatives. The Graduate Assistant will work in the donor database, completing researching and analyzing metrics as it relates to giving at Indiana University. In addition, the GA will work with other departments to complete requests related to donor reports and event lists. The graduate assistant will work with the Women’s Philanthropy team on grant funding projects, and will be a team player, working on office initiatives and administrative projects in support of the rest of the Women’s Philanthropy team.
- $22,000 total stipend for the year
- University health insurance.
- Tuition reimbursement (about 90% depending on whether the individual is in state or out of state)
Minimum enrollment in three credit hours in a graduate program at Indiana University
Graduate program at SPEA, Kelley, The Lilly School of Philanthropy, or SICE
Advanced experience in Excel utilizing spreadsheets and queries
General knowledge of fundraising/non- profits and IU/IUF
