Performing Arts at IU

Every Spring semester, especially during the winter, I take time to enjoy some of the many extraordinary events/performances happening at IU either at: IU Auditorium or IU Musical Arts Center. For instance, this past week, on Tuesday, I attended the musical “Spring Awakening” at the auditorium, and, on Friday, I was blown away by Faust presented by IU Opera Theater at the Musical Arts Center. Both performances were amazing.

These are just two examples of the many extraordinary opportunities that you can experience here at Bloomington, Indiana. During my almost two years here, I have seen performances from Yo-Yo Ma, Cleveland Orchestra, Robin Williams, among others. This is just one enriching way to take a break from our busy schedules and have some fun, either: throughout the year or on those cold winter days!
