The Best Thing About Being a Graduate Student at IUB:
Having the opportunity to learn from and work with such a skilled, talented group of faculty! Many of the faculty members within various departments have produced a number of publications, presented research on regional, national, and international levels, and provide us with opportunities to develop and hone our own research skills and interests.

Insider tip about living in Bloomington:
Always carry pocket change because there are parking meters EVERYWHERE downtown. They only accept coins and debit cards, but who wants to use a debit card to pay one or two bucks for parking? As graduate students, we sometimes have to be extremely conservative; so, if possible, walk to your destination and enjoy the beautiful landscape of campus and the city (except in the snow, of course)!
