Students are recommended to the Groups Scholars Program by a Recommender in their high school or from a community agency. A recommendation is the only way to gain admittance to the program.
"The program has been a true blessing from God to me and my family. I
include my family, because they have all benefited from my opportunity to go."
Becoming a Recommender
The only way to become eligible to be a Groups Scholars Recommender is to attend the Annual Groups Scholars Recommenders Workshop that is usually held in September of each year on the Bloomington campus. If you would like to be added to the list to receive information about the next workshop please email your contact information to the Groups Scholars Program Office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
