The School of Fine Arts (SoFA) Gallery is pleased to announce The Holiday Art Sale + Auction, a sale featuring current work donated by faculty and students from the Henry Radford Hope School of Fine Arts at Indiana University. Additional works on display have been donated by the Friends of Art from anonymous donors and private collections. This event is being held to help support the IU SoFA Gallery’s visual art programming and the important advocacy programs, including student scholarships administered by the Friends of Art. The sale will open Wednesday, December 10th and end with a Silent Auction on Friday, December12, from 7:00 – 8:30pm in the SoFA Gallery. All events are free and open to the public.

The sale will comprise works from the IU Fine Arts including jewelry, photography, painting, printmaking, ceramics and textiles. Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase beautiful wearable, functional and non-functional art pieces made by Indiana University artists for themselves or as holiday gifts for friends and family. Payments may be made by credit card, check, or cash.

On Friday, December 12, The Holiday Art Sale + Auction will be accompanied by the Fine Arts Student Award Ceremony for IU Fine Arts undergraduate students at 5:30 pm in Woodburn Hall room 100, followed by an Opening Reception for IU Fine Arts student exhibitions and the IU School of Fine Arts Holiday Arts Party, from 7:00 – 9:00 pm in the SoFA Gallery.
