Indiana University Henry Radford Hope School of Fine Arts MFA Thesis Exhibitions

The Grunwald Gallery of Art and the IU Art Museum at Indiana University are pleased to announce upcoming IU Master of Fine Arts thesis shows. Artworks created by graduating MFA students from all Studio areas will be featured. Students will give a gallery talk about their work the Fridays of their openings; noon for those students showing in the Grunwald Gallery and at 6 pm for those students exhibiting in the IUAM. All events are free and open to the public.
MFA 1, which features student work from a variety of areas and who are graduating this spring, will be on display from March 26- April 6, 2013. Exhibiting MFA students include Anne Fiala (Metals), Nicole Simpkins (Printmaking), Thomas Agran (Painting), Bill Pariso (Ceramics), and Jason Harper (Ceramics). An opening reception will be held at both venues on Friday March 29, 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
MFA 2 will be on display in the Grunwald Gallery April 9-20, 2013. The exhibition will feature work from Jenna Jacobs (Textiles), Linda Anderson (Painting), Stacia McKeever (Painting), Peter Kenar (Sculpture), and Suzanne Wyss (Sculpture). In the IUAM, April 9-April 20, work from Jaclyn Wright (Photography), Alison Stinely (Painting), Aiden Shapera (Painting), and William Fillmore (Sculpture), will be on display. An opening reception will be held at both venues on Friday, April 12, 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
MFA 3 will be on display in the Grunwald Gallery April 23- May 4, 2013. Thesis work from Aimee Denault (Printmaking), Leah Miller Freeman (Painting), Jonathan Van Tassel (Painting), Rose Werr (Digital Art), Rosalie Lopez (Printmaking), will be on view. From April 23-May 4 the IUAM will feature work from Daniel Mrva (Painting), James Yount (Graphic Design), and Joshua McNolty (Printmaking). An opening reception will be held at both venues on Friday, April 26, 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
