Publicity Committee

The publicity committee will be meeting every other Tuesday at 6:30pm in IMU Starbucks starting 9/22/09 and ending November 3. We will be planning/executing our flyer and chalking campaign for the Bucket 100 and the Rake-A-Thon.
The IU Habitat Publicity Committee is a very crucial part of the Habitat for Humanity organization as a whole. Habitat depends on its volunteers in order to thrive and the publicity committee gets the word out.
Reasons to join the event publicity committee:
- The committee meets roughly once a month.
- Those monthly meetings consist of chalking sidewalks and
flyering kiosks announcing upcoming Habitat events.
- The whole chalking and flyering process takes less than an hour.
Some people volunteer their time because it looks great on a resume, some do it because they want to give back to the community, and some do it because they just want to get out and do something different. Whatever your reason, volunteering for the IU chapter of Habitat is a great choice! And what better way to do it than by being on the Publicity Committee! If you're interested in joining the event publicity committee, visit the Contact page and contact the appropriate board member.
