Current Worksites

During the Fall 2008 semester, the IU Chapter of Habitat for Humanity worked on construction of Leslie Shephard-Long’s house. We began building with the floor in September, and on December 13th we welcomed Leslie and her three kids, Eden, Mason, and Anika, to their new home.  Photos are available here.

For weekend volunteer opportunities, please consider working at the ReStore.  Click here for more information and to sign up!

The fall semester has begun, and Habitat IU is hard at work arranging worksite dates with the Monroe County Habitat for Humanity chapter. Our first build date will be October 10, 2009. There will be two available shifts, one from 8:00am to 12:00pm, and from 12:30pm to 4:30pm. Lunch for both shifts will be provided, and transportation can be easily arranged. Thank you for volunteering with IU Habitat, and we can't wait to see you on a worksite!
