Just click on the "Get Involved" link at the top of this page, there you'll find information about how you can volunteer and be involved with our chapter. To become a member, just print out a membership application (also in the "Get Involved" section), and fill it out, attach a check for your membership dues, and either turn it into our Habitat office in the Union's Student Activities Tower Rm 475 (slide it under the door, or show up during a board member's office hours- find those under "Quick Links" on our homepage), or campus mail it to us. We look forward to your involvement! :)

You can stop by any of the board of director's office hours and you can purchase them for $3 each.

My son is 14 and essentially a man in physical size. I would like to find out if there are any opportunities for him to volunteer during the upcoming summer? He has mentioned that he would like to do something like this while we see news stories etc. about Habitat for Humanity.

Habitat for Humanity has a year-round need for volunteers. Unfortunately, since IU Habitat is a student-run organization, there typically is not much that occurs during the summer months since most students are not in Bloomington. However, you can contact Monroe County Habitat directly as they have events all throughout the summer. You can contact them at volunteers@monroecountyhabitat.org.
