Introduction:

This webpage is designed as a resource for participants in the DEED group at Indiana University.  Below, visitors can find details about the group, schedule of discussion leaders, and links to other resources for those interested in disease.  Please contact me (sprhall at indiana dot edu) with any question or comments about this page or the group).

What is DEED?

The DEED forum is meant to bring together people at the Bloomington campus who study disease and symbiosis at a variety of different levels of biological organization, from molecular mechanisms to coevolution to species interactions to public health, etc. etc.  We typically talk informally about ongoing research, with the aim of sharing ideas and results, getting feedback from the diverse group, and thinking about disease/symbiosis in new and broader ways.  Leaders are also welcome to choose to focus discussion on a recently published paper that might appeal to the broad group.
