The Seventh USA International Harp Competition will be held July, 2007, in the Jacobs School of Music on the campus of Indiana University, Bloomington.
Arriving by air
Visitors to Bloomington fly into the Indianapolis Airport. Bloomington is located approximately 50 miles south of Indianapolis.
Transportation from Indianapolis airport to Bloomington
Participants and invited Guests of Honor will be met at the Indianapolis airport and transported to and from Bloomington. Please notify us of the date and time of your arrival and/or departure, as well as the airline and flight number.
The following information is provided for other visitors coming to Bloomington to attend the Competition.
Rental cars and taxis are available at the airport.
Limousine service to and from Bloomington is available.
Prices range from approx. $35-$80 each way, or starting at $55 for round trip service.
On arrival at Indianapolis airport go to the Ground Transportation Center for information and tickets, or contact Classic Touch Limousines, Inc. at (812) 339-7269 or (800)-589-6004.
Bloomington Shuttle Service operates out of the Ground Transportation Center located at the airport. Reservations are not required, but are preferred. Contact them at 812-332-6004 or 800-589-6004, or online.
Arriving by car
The Competition office is located in the Music Annex Building in the Indiana University School of Music on Jordan Avenue (nearest intersection is 3 rd Street and Jordan Avenue). Stages 1-3 and evening concerts will be held in Auer Hall in the adjacent Simon Building. The Final Stage will be held at the Musical Arts Center.
