Gold Medalist - Emmanuel Ceysson
(France) - 2004
Emmanuel Ceysson of France was awarded the Gold Medal in the 2004 Competition. He received the Victor Salvi Foundation Prize (a commemorative gold Lyon & Healy harp; a debut recital in Wigmore Hall, London, concert engagements and a CD recording on the Egan Records label); a NewYork debut recital; concert engagements with the Indianapolis and Mesquite Symphony Orchestras and the David and Linda Rollo Award (US$5,000). Emmanuel also won the Special Prize for the best performance of Debussy: Danses Sacrée et Profane.

Emmanuel Ceysson has recently been awarded the First Prize at the 2006 Young Concert Artists International Auditions. Emmanuel has had successful concerts in Paris and London, sponsored by the Victor Salvi Foundation, and at the World Harp Congress in Dublin, Ireland. His New York Debut concert as Gold Medal Winner of the USA IHC was on November 6, 2006 in the Zankel Hall of Carnegie Hall, New York City, as part of the Young Artist Concert Series. His upcoming performances include debuts at the Kennedy Center (Young Concert Artists Series) and Lyon & Healy Hall in Chicago. Emmanuel Ceysson has recently won the audition for the Paris Opera and has been appointed Principal Harpist of the Paris Opera Orchestra.

5th USA International Harp Competition - 2001

Gold Medalist - Dan Yu (China) - 2001
Dan Yu was hailed by New York critics as " in class of her own" following her debut in New York's Alice Tully Hall in 2002. She performed debut recitals in Wigmore Hall, London, in Paris and Tokyo, and recently toured China where she appeared with the Beijing Symphony and was featured in a documentary film broadcast world-wide. She has performed extensively in the United States and Europe, and recorded her debut album on the Egan Records label. Currently living in Los Angeles, she continues to concertize in the United States and elsewhere, and has recently released her second CD, entitled Spring on the Moonlit River.

4th USA International Harp Competition - 1998

Gold Medalist - Xavier De Maistre (France) - 1998
Xavier de Maistre has been named principal harpist with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Xavier has also appeared in successful recitals in Wigmore Hall, London, presented by Salvi International, and in Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center, New York, on January 26, 1999. He has recorded a new CD of works by Henriette Renié and he performed her Concerto for Harp and Orchestra at the 7th World Harp Congress in Prague in July 1999.

3rd USA International Harp Competition - 1995

Gold Medalist - Gaëlle Vandernoot (France) - 1995
Gaëlle Vandernoot performs as soloist and with orchestras in France and the United States. After winning the 1995 Competition, she made her debut recital in Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center, New York. Ms. Vandernoot performed a solo recital in Auer Hall at Indiana University on July 11 as a special event of the 1998 Competition.

2nd USA International Harp Competition - 1992

Gold Medalist - Jana Boušková (Czech Republic) 1992
Jana Boušková is Professor of Harp at the Prague Conservatory and Principal Harp with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. She is an international concert artist and has recorded over twelve CD's for the harp. A winner of numerous awards, Ms. Boušková has been invited to take part in many World Harp Congresses and international festivals such as: Prague Spring, Festival of the Sound in Ontario, and Soka International Harp Festival in Japan. She has performed extensively in Europe and the United States and has been a soloist with many of the leading orchestras in the world, including the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. She was also the head of the artistic committee for the Eighth World Harp Congress held in Prague in July 1999. Ms. Boušková performed a solo recital in Auer Hall at Indiana University on July 5 as a special event of the 1998 Competition.

Gold Medalist - Marie Casale (USA) - 1989
Maria Casale is a world-class concert artist. Her solo debut recital in 1990 at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center, brought her critical acclaim. She was a featured soloist at the 1990 World Harp Congress in Paris and the 1999 World Harp Congress in Prague. Maria Casale is Professor of Harp at Pepperdine Unviersity in Malibu, California.

- Ms. Hainen is principal harp for the Philadelphia Orchestra.
Bronze Medalist - Kirsten Agresta, United States
- Ms. Agresta was the winner of the American Harp Society's Concert Artist Award.
