Administrators
Carol Spencer / Director
B.S. Degree from the State University of New York, College at Oswego and a M.S. from Syracuse University, both in early education. She has been working in the field since 1978 and has been the Director at Hoosier Courts since 1994. Carol enjoys hiking in the woods, playing guitar, singing, reading and doing Tae Kwon Do. She is grateful for the support of her husband, teenage daughter, and dog.

Angie Bowen / Office Assistant
Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. Angie attended Northern Illinois University and Indiana University and has been working at Hoosier Courts since 2007. She has over 25 years of experience in working with children and families as a former Probation Officer, a Department of Child Services caseworker, and a domestic violence counselor.


Co-Teachers
Staci Walter
Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a Minor in Special Education from Indiana University. Staci has been at Hoosier Courts since 1992. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, traveling, camping, and shopping.

Christina Younghans
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Indiana University. Christina has been at Hoosier Courts since 2006. She enjoys gardening, spending time with her husband, and playing with her dogs.

Jennifer Hare
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Indiana University. Jennifer has been at Hoosier Courts since 2005. She enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with her family.

Jitka Horne
Art Degree from the University of Prague specializing in textiles. She has been at Hoosier Courts since 1990. Jitka has a love of science and exposing children to the many wonders of nature through experiences in and out of the classroom. She enjoys gardening and spending time with her family.

Sue Hicks
Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education at Indiana University. She has taught elementary school and Montessori before finding her real passion and calling in early childhood education. She has been at Hoosier Courts since1993, with a brief break from 2007-2010. Sue has three grown children and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going for walks, reading, cooking, and traveling.


Sky Adams
Sky Adams has a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics and French from Indiana University and holds Child Development Associates certification. He has worked at Hoosier Courts since 2010.  Prior to his time at Hoosier Courts, he taught at Head Start.  He spends his spare time gardening/foraging, preserving food, carving, and painting.  Sky loves his community and is grateful to live in Bloomington.
