Eating Disorder Self-Assessment

Incessant thinking about food intake, exercise and weight diminishes the lives of all too many college students.  Certainly not all students have “eating disorders”, but too many students do experience them.   Even more students have unhealthy, “disordered eating” of some sort, or negative food and body preoccupations.

To begin to take a look at yourself, you might want to start with an online assessment developed for college students, On-Line Eating Disorder Assessment.

To assist you, you may wish to schedule an appointment with a CAPS counselor.  CAPS offers group treatment for disordered eating as well, CAPS Groups.   You also may want to learn more about the Coalition for Overcoming Problem Eating/Exercise (C.O.P.E.).
