Biography
Brad Stepp earned a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in clinical psychology. He completed his internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University's Counseling & Psychological Services. He has trained at community mental health centers, state psychiatric hospitals, and college counseling centers. His areas of interest include GLBTQ issues, having gained signifcant experience in working with these communities in Chicago and the San Francisco Bay area. Additional areas of interest include mood disorders, relationship concerns, self-esteem issues, first/next generation college students, multicultural and diversity Issues, and disordered eating. Brad approaches his work with students from a strength-based humanistic approach within the context of a psychodynamic framework. He believes the therapeutic relationship is the most powerful modality in addressing students' concerns.
