Biography

Chris Engle earned his Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) from University of Louisville and is a licensed clinical social worker (LSCW). He joined CAPS after after working 17 years in community mental health in southern Indiana. He has extensive experience working with addictions, chronic mental illness, and with families. Chris is trained in structural family therapy, cognitive therapy, and group therapy. He has a special interest in Islamic student issues.

During the fall and spring semesters, you can talk with a certified health professional until 11 p.m. every night. Call (812) 330-3790.

Counseling

Call (812) 855-5711 to schedule an appointment. Or visit the CAPS Walk-In Clinic on the 4th floor from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. After hours, call CAPS at (812) 855-5711, option 1.

Sexual Assault Crisis

Immediate support is available 24 hours a day at (812) 855-8900.

If there is an emergency

If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 9-1-1.
