Eye Clinic

NOTICE*  IUHC Eye Clinic is closed for the summer. Instead, please call 855-4011 ext. 2 to help determine where you should be seen.

The Eye Clinic is open during the academic year in the morning on Mondays and Tuesdays, and in the afternoon on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. At other times, please contact our Medical Clinic, or the School of Optometry.

Get specialized care for eye problems. Are your eyes red, swollen, itchy, or sore? Does it feel like there's something in your eye? At IU Health Center, you can get treated by a residency-trained optometrist for eye-related problems, including:

  • Contact lens-related red eyes
  • Conjunctivitis (pinkeye)
  • Styes
  • Dry eye
  • Allergies
  • Injuries
  • Retina problems related to diabetes and hypertension
  • Eye inflammation caused by rheumatologic disorders

If you can't make a scheduled appointment, please call at least two hours in advance. This helps us ensure other patients can be treated promptly. Call the appointment cancellation line at (812) 855-8417 when IU Health Center is open. After hours, you can cancel an appointment by calling (812) 855-9805.
