IUHC Travel Clinic

The Travel Clinic is open to students, Indiana University faculty and staff and to the general public who plan to travel abroad.

Registered Nurses with expertise and additional education and certification in travel health staff this area. They provide counseling and information on required and recommended vaccinations and prevention medications for each particular travel destination. This counseling includes the most current information on health, political conditions, safety and weather related issues in the country of interest.

The Health Center subscribes to the national travel health service TRAVAX which provides weekly updates on recommendations, new requirements, and travel warnings gleaned from many sources and individualized to every country of the world. Provider consultations are arranged when needed to ensure all potential health risks are minimized.

The Health Center stocks a full range of vaccinations and medications for travel at reasonable prices. Many of these vaccines and medications are not readily available elsewhere.
