About Our Program

The Hudson & Holland Scholars Program (HHSP) is a scholarship and support program for high achieving underrepresented minorities. The program provides a scholarship as well as a variety of support services to address the holistic needs of student participants in the program. HHSP students are some of the best and brightest students at IU whose presence and contributions enrich the learning environment by living the HHSP motto: Leadership, Engagement, Academics, and Diversity.

HHSP is the largest scholarship and support program at Indiana University. There are over 1,400 students in the program. Top U.S. employers, graduate, and professional schools recruit HHSP scholars to join their ranks.

A hallmark of the program, is our Wellness and Retention Programs (W&R) in partnership with School of Public Health. This initiative aims to help students at all stages of their development: personally, socially, academically, and professionally.
