Welcome to Hilltop Garden and Nature Center
Part of Indiana University, Hilltop was established over 60 years ago by Dr. Barbara Shalucha, a biology professor and garden enthusiast. Continuing her vision, Hilltop has grown to over five acres, with several distinctly beautiful gardens, greenhouses, and an activity center. Hilltop serves the Bloomington community, as well as Indiana University students, offering classes and workshops to enhance gardening skills, creating volunteer opportunities, or simply offering a place to find peace and solace among the flowers and life within our gates.
