Bio
Joshua John Clarkson received his B.A. in Psychology and M.A. in General Psychology, both at the University of North Florida, before receiving his Ph.D. in Social Psychology at Indiana University. His research interests focus broadly on the social and meta- cognitive processes underlying human behavior, and his research offers specific contributions to the areas of attitudes/attitude change, attitude strength/structure, self-regulation, and knowledge acquisition. His work has been published in various journals, including the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, and the Journal of Marketing Research, and his research has appeared in various media outlets, including The London Times and Advertising Age. He is currently a postdoctoral research fellow in the Marketing Department at the University of Florida. [Updated September 2011]
