Undergraduate Honors Student of Psychology
Bio
John Kroner is in his third year at Indiana University, majoring in Psychology and Sociology. He comes from Cincinnati, Ohio, where he hopes to return upon graduating to pursue graduate work in clinical psychology.
John's research interests are varied, but he is currently focused on the topic of ego depletion. This is the idea that everyone has a limited set of cognitive, self-regulatory resources which are exhausted when performing mental tasks. His honors thesis will explore how certain perceptions will affect these resources. He hopes to expand upon the processes that govern the phenomenon of ego depletion.
