Fanship Study

You are invited to participate in a research study of fanship of Indiana University Basketball. The purpose of this study is to assess how IU students and basketball fans think about and react to their team's performance during the season.  Researchers around the country are interested in the effects that sports have on the lives of people, and we are trying to better understand the psychology of the sports fan.

In this study, you will answer several questions online and read a news article. It should take about 25 minutes. Any questions can be directed to nhlewis@indiana.edu.
