Grading Criteria for the Genogram:
Genogram/chrnonology must be typed, except for the genogram itself.
Genogram (5 points):
Is the basic skeleton of a 3-generation genogram included?
Does the genogram include at least 3 pieces of information on most of the family members?
Are relationship lines included?
Chronology (5 points):
Are at least five key events included?
Personal reflection (5 points)
How well has the student responded to the questions about the impact of the experience of doing the genogram? (note that even if they say there was no effect, they should reflect on why this is so.)
Overall view (5 points)
In looking at this genogram, assess the depth and breadth of what the student has done. Is there evidence of critical thinking? How neatly displayed is the genogram?
