Turkish Hand Gestures (in Turkish with simultaneous translation)

Please join us for Tara Alisbah's Turkish talk "Türkiye'deki El Hareketleri" (Turkish Hand Gestures) on Monday October 23 in GISB 1060 at 7:00 PM. IU Turkish Flagship will be hosting its second Turkish talk of the semester. The presentation will be given in Turkish with English translation provided by advanced learners. Turkish Poetry Night

Turkish Flagship and the Turkish Students Association at Indiana University invite learners and speakers of Turkish to participate in this year’s Turkish Poetry Night, Thursday, February 16th from 7:00-8:30 PM (IU campus location TBA). There will be Valentine's Day-themed refreshments and prizes for the best performers in each of three categories: Turkish learners, native speakers of Turkish, and speakers of other Turkic languages (presenting in Turkish). Special consideration will be given to those who have memorized their poems and those presenting original poems!
