22nd Annual Association of Central Eurasian Students Conference

On March 7th, 2015, the Indiana University Association of Central Eurasian Students held its 22nd Annual Conference in Hodge Hall. The conference saw increased participation from last year, with over forty scholars and students participating. Participants included undergraduates, graduate students, and professors from Indiana University and other American and international institutions. The fifteen panels represented the geographic and intellectual diversity of Central Eurasian studies, with topics ranging from Society and Politics in Contemporary Hungary to Source Analysis in Mongolian Imperial Manuscripts. Dr. Sarah Kendzior gave the keynote speech, entitled “The Future of Central Asian Studies,” the text of which can be found here.
