IU-ANU Graduate Research Exchange 2017

The Pan Asia Institute offers support for short-term (1-6 week) research exchanges between Indiana
University and the Australian National University (ANU) for graduate students working within the area of
Pan-Asian studies. Graduate students who have completed at least one year of full-time academic study
(or its equivalent) with a minimum GPA of a 3.5 on a 4.0 scale are eligible to apply. Students from any
discipline are welcome to apply, but the focus of their research and/or academic program must be related
to the pan-Asian region. While preference is given to doctoral students, master’s students will also be
considered.

Students selected for the exchange will receive round-trip, economy class airfare to Canberra, study and
research privileges at ANU, and a stipend for lodging and living expenses while studying and working at
ANU.

Applications for student exchanges during the Summer and Fall 2017 terms must be submitted via
email to panasia@iu.edu by March 3, 2017.
