Small Projects Istanbul

Small Projects Istanbul runs a cultural center, a women’s co-op, and provides a variety of language classes and other services (childcare, school enrollment help, etc.) to the primarily Syrian refugee community in Istanbul. The program director is working on a new program to connect Syrians in Istanbul with Arabic language learning students in the United States to facilitate a language exchange over Skype in the hopes that it could become a source of much-needed income for the Syrians. They’re thinking to charge $20 and hour, and 100% of that would go directly to the Syrian beneficiary. So I’m looking to get in contact with any Arabic language instructors or program coordinators across the country. Here is the link to the Small Projects Istanbul website to receive more info.
