IAUNRC Broadens its Podcasts
Eurasian-related events have become a regular part of Indiana University’s cultural programming: every week lectures are held, holidays are celebrated, and even cooking competitions have become a frequent occurrence on campus. The Inner Asian and Uralic National Resource Center is closely involved with many of these events, and we do our best to report on cultural and academic moments of note throughout the year. The internet doesn't yet let us share plov via the IAUNRC website, but we do try to highlight as many lectures, visiting professors, and festivals as we can.
In addition, the IAUNRC has made it a practice to record many of the important academic lectures presented on topics of Eurasian interest at Indiana University – and to make these recordings available to the public. At the moment, more than a dozen recorded lecture “podcasts” are available on the IAUNRC website, and more are being uploaded constantly. This remains an ongoing process, and in the months and years to come the IAUNRC plans to continue uploading representative podcasts from the vast trove of Eurasian-related lectures that have been delivered at Indiana University. Making this material available to the widest possible audience goes to the core of the IAUNRC’s outreach efforts, and we strongly encourage all of our visitors to visit our podcast page.
The IAUNRC’s lecture podcasts can be found online at http://www.iu.edu/~iaunrc/resources/av/podcasts and will continue to be updated on an ongoing basis.
