Dr. Eric Wright, Associate Professor of Sociology at Indiana University, Purdue University at Indianapolis has been tracking the status of former Central State Hospital patients since the facility closed in 1994.  In these newsletters Dr. Wright answers questions related to the status of  former Central State patients.  For additional information on findings from this study, consult the August 1999 issue of the Journal of Behavioral Health Services and Research.  This issue contains seven research articles that summarize different facets of this comprehensive study.  Copies of the abstracts for the individual articles contained in this journal may be viewed at: http://www.indiana.edu/~icmhsr/publications.  You may also order copies of the individual articles via the website.  Those who are interested in the update of this study, may also view Dr. Wright's presentation at: http://www.indiana.edu/~icmhsr/chsp_files/
