Experiments not requiring physiology data collection are often conducted in the ICR's Laptop Lab. Designed to allow maximum flexibility for the researcher, laptops may be configured in a variety of participant-seating arrangements. Media stimuli are presented using MediaLab or DirectRT software which also stores responses directly into the a researcher database. Common measures used in the ICR Laptop Lab include self-report responses, signal detection memory measures, response latency, continuous response measurement, and secondary-task reaction times.
