Engaging your Distance Education Students with Podcasting - May 2009
The Office of Instructional Consulting is proud to host the second in a series of forums on distance education and online learning. This session focuses on the important aspects of engaging your students through the use of podcasts. In this forum, we will demonstrate podcast basics, discuss podcasting software (i.e., iTunes U), provide examples of educational applications, and answer questions from the faculty audience. In addition, Suzanne Eckes, Assistant Professor of Education Leadership and Policy Studies, will provide information about her experiences of using podcast as a part of her instruction. Faculty who are exploring the use of podcasts as well as veterans will find this session informative.
