Faculty Advisor's Address

W elcome to the International Friendship Association!

I'm so excited about this group and what it has to offer. International students are a vital part of the Bloomington community, adding to the richness and diversity of this town and campus. I am thrilled to be part of a group that is working to help new international students make friends and adjust to life in Bloomington.

I can only imagine how hard it must be to leave your friends and family behind and travel to a new country where the language and culture are unfamiliar. The International Friendship Association is here to help new students with that transition. The members are available to answer questions that students have, both before they arrive and as they begin their new lives at IU. IFA is also a great way to get connected with other students at IU and make friends from around the world.

On behalf of IFA, I welcome you to IU and Bloomington. I hope you have a wonderful experience during your time here and take part in the great things that IFA has to offer!

Sincerely,
Molly L. Heidemann
