Weekly President's Council
The IFC is a self-governing body representing the twenty-six member fraternities at Indiana University. Consisting of seven executive council members, eleven directors, and the chapter president of each fraternity, the IFC strives to promote excellence in all aspects of fraternity life and academic excellence. The Council also works together to help the entire Greek Community better achieve its common goal of membership development and service to the Bloomington community. The Council works to achieve these goals through its committee structure focusing on an array of areas including chapter development, scholarship, community service, member education, and alumni and public relations. The Council is lead by a seven member Executive Committee, which works closely with the Greek advisors and Deans. Each year, the Council sponsors numerous educational seminars covering a variety of topics pertinent to the lives of Indiana University students. The Interfraternity Council constitutes only a fourth of
the Greek community at Indiana University. In addition to IFC, the
Greek Community includes the Panhellenic Association, National
Pan-Hellenic Council, Multicultural Greek Council, & their member
organizations. Alumni Interfraternity Council Please visit
