Greeks take pride in community service and philanthropy.  Each chapter has a foundation or charity they sponsor through philanthropic events.  Fraternities sponsor a multitude of activities each year to impact the local community and raise money for their special philanthropies.  Members of the Greek Community also take pride in contributing to each other's events.  There is always tremendous participation for each chapter's philanthropy dinners and activities. 

Greeks also have the opportunity to get involved with campus-wide philanthropies.  These include service projects during Greek Week, Blood Drives, Dance Marathon, Habitat for Humanity, Homecoming, Little 500, and much more.  The opportunities members will have to help benefit philanthropic organizations and the community are endless.  This ability is one of the most important qualities new members will develop while being a part of a fraternity.
 

Dance Marathon Opportunity to Help

Dance Marathon asks that you use the  search engine www.goodsearch.com.  It's just like Google, except every time someone clicks search, IUDM will receive 1 cent.  It may not seem like a lot, but it adds up.
