Instructional Designer
Statement of job responsibilities:
- Advise faculty in determining appropriate instructional goals and
objectives.
- Selecting and/or developing appropriate instructionsl strategies
using multimedia and telecommunications technologies.
- Design and develop courses using instructional technology.
- Design and deliver workshops and seminars.
- Consult with faculty regarding the acquisition, development, and use
of multimedia educational technology in support of curricular enhancement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor US degree(Master's degree preferred) in instructional design.
- Two to three years of work-related experience.
- Preferably including classroom experience.
- A driver Us license is required.
- Candidates must be prepared to show samples of personally designed
computer-based material.

Instructional Designer
Statement of job responsibilities:
- Leading the planning, analysis, design, development, deployment and
evaluation processes of learning materials.
- Presenting complex and newly developed classroom materials.
- Conducting lab demonstrations and distributing/facilitating use of
interactive materials to employees and customers.
- Developing tools to review materials and learner performance, and
proactively recommend improvements.
Requirements:
- BA/BS in Instruction Technology, Engineering or Education
- 5-8 years of adult education experience
- The ability to effectively work in and lead projects in a team
environment is a must.
- Excellent communication and demonstrated project management skills.
- Excellent presentation and customer relation skills.
- Strong electronical and mechanical aptitude, and the ability to
follow ISO 9000 requirements.
- Experience developing and leading multi-media design projects, and
working with JCI or related products, systems and services.
- Master Degree is preferred.

- Creating the informational and navigational
structure for World Wide Web and other interactive projects.
Requirements:
- Must be a communications professional who is intrigued by the promise
of new technologies and enjoys the challenge of integrating complex
information into a cohesive system.
- Must be able to research a content area quickly, analyze the
structure, develop organizational concepts, and synthesize these ideas
into a comprehensive information architecture.
- Must be able to establish information hierarchies, apply interface
design principles, and work well within a team.
- Senior information designers must be experienced team leaders.
- Background in any of the following areas a plus: usability testing,
interface design, information graphics, technical writing,
highly-structured copywriting, graphic design systems, or marketing
communications.
