Starting A Job
To initiate a job, please complete the Marketing Request form. All information on the top portion of the form must be completed in order to start job.So that IMU Marketing can provide you with the highest level of service and quality, please plan ahead, allowing sufficient time for the production of your project.

Photos & Graphics
To submit photos and /or graphics for your project, your files should be saved at 100 percent and at 300 dpi or greater. Photos and graphics should be saved as TIFF, EPS, JPG, or PDF files. Low resolution photos and graphics should only be used for slide presentations or for screen electronics(e.g Web, television, etc.). Digital, high-resolution photos are memory intensive and may be too large to e-mail. These images are best submitted on DVD/CD. If you are submitting graphics or layout documents, compatible graphics formats include Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe PhotoShop files. IMU does not support Microsoft Publisher. All files should be Macintosh compatible.

Text
Text for all projects should be submitted as e-documents, edited, proofed and spell checked. If you need assistance in writing and / or proofing your text, please ask for assistance when submitting your project. When submitting text, please send it as an unformatted word document and submit it on a DVD/CD or by E-mail.

Timelines & Deadlines
In an effort to provide the highest level of service and quality, please plan ahead. All projects vary depending on the job's complexity and stages involved. The standard turnaround time for publications is three to six weeks. Please allow time for writing, editing, design and production, and additional time for printing and delivery of the finished product. Some publications may take less time and can be quickly turned around while others may take four weeks or longer to produce. Adding information or significantly changing text during the process may extend deadlines. If writing,editing, and/or photography is required for your job, please allow for additional time. For all projects, please plan in advance and request a timeline from IMU Marketing.

Proofing
Project proofs will be provided to the client for approval. A proof is for correcting information and approving the project for publication. Adding information or significantly changing text or graphics during proofing may lengthen the project time line. When returning your proof, please check with IMU Marketing update.

Requesting Digital Files
If you need copies of your project, please request the files at the time you initiate your job. Indicate the text, photos, and / or graphics you are requesting and specify how you need the images or text files saved. Please indicate the software program and operating system you will be using.
