Adventure Trips

IU Outdoor Adventures has been nationally recognized for the size, variation, and quality of our adventure program. Every year IUOA coordinates over 40 trips and trainings that range from one-hour workshops to multiweek expeditions. All trips are designed to educate the IU student participants and surrounding communities of the thrills of adventure and outdoor recreation while promoting the ethical use of environmental resources. |

*All trip planning meetings are located at IUOA and have mandatory attendance, unless you live 50 or more miles from Bloomington, Indiana. ** Wait List: If you are interested in the trip but we are currently only accepting wait list sign-ups, we would encourage you to call our office and put your name on the wait list. We will then contact you if a spot has opened before we open enrollment to the public. There is no limit to the size of any wait list. If we see an overwhelming amount of interest we might consider opening a second trip with the same itinerary or accomodating the wait list in some other way. You may also sign up for another trip during the same timeframe and still be on the wait list of your choice without penalty.
