2014 Event Week and Specials

NEW this year, we will be offering a whole week of adventure opportunities and merchandise specials through IU Outdoor Adventures and local businesses. 

We envision that the films will inspire you to engage in outdoor activities and adventures, so we are providing audience members opportunities to engage with our local sponsors and with the trip leaders who are supported through the festival ticket sales. 

With a Banff ticket stub, individuals can partake in the following event week promotions the week following the Banff Mountain Film Festival from approximately Saturday, March 29 through Sunday, April 6, 2014. See details and visit locations below for specific details.

 First Friday Evening Science of Art: Community Mapping

Friday, April 4, 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Enjoy half-price admission as you explore the visual and audio mapping of experiences with artist Christian McKay, a doctoral candidate in Learning Sciences at Indiana University. Create your own audio speaker using a paper plate, and make a personal hot spot map of places in the community that matter to you. The museum café will be open with a small-plate meal prepared by Bloomingfoods.
