For more information about the IUOA hiring process and the "Intro To Wilderness Leadership" class, download the Leader Manual.

Applications are accepted from students every semester. We recommend applying one semester prior to when you could begin the hiring process. For example, if you are able to take the class in the fall semester, please apply by April.

Past leadership and outdoor experience is beneficial, but not required.
