Group Activities Bloomington Time:

Groups may plan their own activities or workshops!

Group activities in Union Studios are a great way to spend creative time with your friends or for "ice-breaking activities" with people you don't know that well. People use our studios to for showers, birthday parties, and even getting to know the in-laws!

Activities last for two hours. Group activities cost onlly $15 per person and include instruction and all materials.

  • Throwing
    Learn to create a vessel or bowl on the wheel. Includes instruction, clay, glaze, and firing. Participation: Minimum 4, Maximum 7.
  • Hand-building
    Have fun making a great, functional ceramics piece! Some ideas include coasters, mugs, ornaments, and sushi trays. Includes instruction, clay, glaze, and firing. Participation: Minimum 4, Maximum 20. Groups larger than 20 will need to schedule 2 sessions.
