ARLIS 2009 Silent Auction
A silent auction benefiting the Society will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at the 38th Annual Conference in Indianapolis. Bidding begins when the exhibits hall opens at 10:30am on Saturday, April 18, and ends at 7pm that evening when the exhibits hall closes for the day. Items will be awarded to the highest bidder during the Silent Auction Finale beginning at 9:30am on Sunday, April 19, 2009.

If you send a digital image of your item, we will post it to the Indianpolis conference website prior to the conference. Please send a JPEG image to aetrendler@bsu.edu. Be sure to indicate “ARLIS/NA auction” in the subject line and the title of your donation in the email message.

Donating to the Auction
Individuals and chapters are encouraged to donate items for the auction. Donations might include art works, crafts, books, gift baskets, regional foods and beverages (that do not require refrigeration), or jewelry. Please keep in mind that the winning bidders must carry or ship home the items.
To donate an item or items, complete a Donation Form by April 10, 2009.
Items may be shipped to the address below by Friday, April 10, or dropped off at the Conference Registration Desk by 5pm on Friday, April 17. Chapters assembling gift baskets are encouraged to assemble them at the conference and drop the baskets off at the Conference Registration Desk.
All items must be accompanied by a donation form.

Bidding
Bidding begins Saturday, April 18 at 10:30am when the exhibits hall opens and continues until 7pm that evening when the exhibits hall closes for the day. There will also be time to bid Sunday, April 19, from 9:30am until 10:00am during the Silent Auction Finale. At 10:00am bidding ends and we will begin announcing the winning bidders. Winners have until 5pm on Monday, April 20, to pay for their items at the Conference Registration Desk using cash, check, MasterCard or Visa, and pick up their items. Any unclaimed items will be returned to the donor.
Shipping Items Home
The business center in the conference hotel provides shipping services for a fee. There are also two U.S. Post Office locations near the hotel at 125 W. South St. and 465 N. Meridian St.
