2010-2011 Annual Report
It is with great pleasure that we present the 2010-2011 Indiana Campus Compact Annual Report.
The words below reflect those that our members used most often in telling their stories for the 2010-2011 Annual Report.
The past year has been an exciting and energizing year for Indiana Campus Compact and our members. The good work that faculty, staff, students, and their community partners have been part of on their campuses and with their communities is nothing short of amazing. Keeping in mind that the true measure of success for any organization is the impact it makes on its constituents, we are honored to present a collection of stories, as told by our members, which reflect the results of Indiana Campus Compact’s resources and support for our members.
In this report, you will find the facts and figures that quantify our work; however, more importantly, you also will find personal accounts of meaningful programs and projects which have had lasting effects on Indiana communities. From a student’s changing view of her world to a faculty member’s creation of a sustainable community partnership, you will read how committed Indiana Campus Compact members are to their work in service engagement. Each account is an example of how, with Indiana Campus Compact’s support, communities across the state of Indiana have benefited from the passion and dedication of a growing number of partnerships between university and college members and their community partners.
Last year, Indiana Campus Compact supported over 30,000 individuals through our programs and resources. During that same time period, students on Indiana Campus Compact member campuses served more than 9 million hours, contributing nearly $200 million dollars worth of support to our communities. While those figures are impressive on their own, it’s the stories of change, creation, and sustainability that are a true testament to Indiana Campus Compact and its members’ work.
We encourage you to read the Annual Report and learn more about the various ways faculty, staff, and students have been engaged with their communities. We also invite you to stay in touch by visiting our redeveloped webpage at www.indianacampuscompact.org where you can sign up to be a part of our listserv and receive a handful of emails throughout the year highlighting exciting work by our member campuses.
Thank you for your continued support of Indiana Campus Compact. We look forward to engaging with you in the future.
