Ashoka U - What is a Social Entrepreneur? Social entrepreneurs are individuals with innovative solutions to society’s most pressing social problems. They are ambitious and persistent, tackling major social issues and offering new ideas for wide-scale change.
CES4Health.info, is a new outlet for peer-reviewed publication of products of community-engaged scholarship that are in forms OTHER THAN journal articles (e.g., training curricula, educational videos, policy briefs, online toolkits, etc).
The Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) e-mail community was created through a partnership between Community-Campus Partnerships for Health (www.ccph.info) and the Wellesley Institute (www.wellesleyinstitute.com) to serve the growing network of people involved and interested in CBPR and other types of community-academic research partnerships. People from community organizations, colleges and universities, public and private funding agencies, decision makers and policy makers, and others are all encouraged to subscribe. We hope this listserv provides a resource for sharing knowledge and experience and contribute to strengthening the field of CBPR and ultimately improving the health of communities.

ICSLTE e-learning community- from the International Center for Service-Learning in Teacher Education at Duke University. This site, sponsored by the Program in Education at Duke University, will host resources created for and developed by Learn and Serve funded teacher education programs and national nonprofits. Additionally, participants will be able to access collaborative thinking and writing space, and review artifacts as projects develop. Participation is open to everyone.
