Promotion and Tenure for the Community Engaged Scholar
The Center for Service and Learning at IUPUI provides materials and resources to support faculty who seek to establish and document their scholarly practice as Community Engaged Scholars. Community engaged scholarship (CES) goes by many names including public scholarship and the scholarship of engagement.
Faculty attracted to and engaged in CES can often find it challenging to identify resources and find mentors that can support their successful accession to tenure and/or promotion.
