  • Universal student network accounts for email and computer access, plus specialty accounts for students in certain programs

Getting Your IU Email Account

You can obtain your network ID/email address by visiting the Information Commons in the Wells Library or by using the Network ID Starter Kit in any UITS Student Technology Center.

Student Technology at IUB

The Student Technology Website allows you convenient, one-stop access to essential technology-related information and web sites.

Computer Labs on Campus

Called “Student Technology Centers” or “STCs,” labs are located throughout campus buildings and residence halls.  For a complete listing, visit here.

STEPS Classes

Free computing classes for IU students and staff.  Learn how to use Microsoft Office products, email systems, author web pages, etc.  Get a course catalog at UITS sites, and register by phone or online.
