International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the US Department of State and the US Department of Education is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.

Are you looking for a chance to practice a language you are trying to learn? Would you like to get together with native and practicing speakers of your native language? Conversation Clubs at the International Center are just what you are looking for. Whether you’re trying to learn to speak a language more conversationally or just want to talk with some people with similar interests, Conversation Clubs provide an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself into a language. We host Conversation Clubs for several languages; please see the schedule below.
