Late Arrival Information for Spring 2010

Spring 2010 International Student Orientation is scheduled for January 4–6, 2010.  If you will be arriving after January 6, you will need to follow the directions below.

If you are entering the US after the date on your I-20 or DS-2019 (January 3) please contact newtoiu@indiana.edu and provide us with the following information:

In the subject line of the email please write “Late Arrival for Spring 2010”

  • First name
  • Last name
  • IU ID number
  • Date of anticipated arrival in the US

Undergraduates:

  • Report to the Office of International Services at Franklin Hall 306 between the hours of 9am–Noon or 1–4pm.  You will then proceed on to testing and advising as per the schedule you will receive.  You will not be able to register for classes until you have attended the International Student Orientation program.
  • If you arrive during the weekend of January 9 report to the Office of International Services on Monday January 11 between 9am–noon or 1–4pm.  You will not be able to register for classes until you have attended the International Student Orientation program.  Plan to spend a few hours at orientation.

Graduates:

  • Report to the Office of International Services at Franklin Hall 306 between the hours of 9am–Noon or 1–4pm starting Thursday January 7.  You will not be able to register for classes until you have attended the International Student Orientation program.
  • If you arrive during the weekend of January 9 report to the Office of International Services on Monday January 11 between 9am–noon or 1–4pm.  You will not be able to register for classes until you have attended the International Student Orientation program.  Plan to spend the a few hours at orientation.
